Sustainability Success – Building Back on Preserved Farmland

Thanks to the dedicated support of over 75 individuals, we are ecstatic to share we have secured new operating land for FAIR Farms Gambia.

Located in Busura, this nearly 5 hectare (~11.5 acre) site is larger than our initial pilot farm. The farmland is high quality, filled with endemic trees, grasses and plants we seek to steward. Close to major marketing centers and existing partners including the University of The Gambia, this new location will serve all our needs.

Most importantly, this site is ours to steward forever into the future for agricultural education. This is the biggest sustainability step we could take – and we’re forever grateful to the folks who supported us! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support.
